Description

What it does

Estimate from your price book, with a takeoff

Set your flat-rate services, parts and fixtures once, each with a cost and a sell price. Add them to a plumbing estimate in one pick, with the markup that reaches your sell price. The takeoff calculator turns 300 ft of PEX and 120 fittings plus a waste allowance into the quantity to order, rounded up, and adds the lines for you.

A dispatch board for your technicians

One row per technician, one column per day, one card per job with its arrival window. Emergency and urgent calls are coloured, unassigned jobs are called out, and the + in an empty cell books a job straight into that slot. An accepted estimate becomes a job in one click.

Real margin on every job

Job price plus approved change orders, minus parts and technician hours at their rate. It is calculated from the records you already entered, so it cannot go stale, and each job carries a 0 to 100 health score. The dashboard shows jobs today, average ticket, callback rate, estimate close rate and gross margin.

Service plans, permits, callbacks and stock

Annual inspections, water heater flush plans and backflow test programmes with their renewal dates. Permits and inspection results, with an alert on a failed inspection. Callbacks and punch lists, technician licences and their expiry, parts stock with low-stock alerts, and purchase orders that log the cost when received.

Before you buy

What is plumbing estimating software, and what does this one do?
It is the tool you build an estimate in. This one builds it from your own price book: every service, part and fixture has your cost and your sell price, so a line lands on the estimate with the right markup. It adds a takeoff calculator with a waste allowance, prints the estimate on your letterhead, and turns an accepted estimate into a job with its price and cost budget carried across.
Is this plumbing software with a takeoff feature?
It has a quantity takeoff, not a plan-reading one. You enter feet of pipe or a count of fittings, add a waste percentage, and it shows the quantity to order rounded up and adds the lines to the estimate. It does not measure a blueprint or read a drawing.
Is it plumbing scheduling software?
It has a dispatch board that lays jobs out by technician and day, with arrival windows and priority colours, and a month calendar with every date the software knows about. You enter and move the jobs yourself. It does not optimise routes, track a truck by GPS or text a customer that the plumber is on the way.
Can it work as plumbing field service software for a small company?
For the business side, yes: customers, estimates, jobs, field reports, callbacks, technician hours and job costing, invoices and payments. A field report prints with a customer signature line. It is a single-computer tool, so a technician in the truck does not update the same record live. That needs a cloud service and a monthly fee.
Does it do invoicing and job costing for a plumbing business?
Yes. Service, deposit, progress, final, change-order and credit-memo invoices, with Paid, Partial and Overdue worked out for you. Job cost comes from the expenses booked to the job plus technician hours times their rate, so the margin on each job and each type of work is real, not typed in.
Can it take card payments or file payroll?
No. It records payments against an invoice, by card, check, cash, transfer or financing, and shows what is still owed. The money moves through the terminal or app you already use, and payroll stays with your payroll provider.
Can several people use it at once?
No, and it is worth knowing before you buy. There is no cloud sync and no shared database, so it is one computer at a time. Another office computer can work from a copy by restoring a backup file, but the two copies do not merge.
Is there a subscription?
No. One payment for the file, no account, no server and no monthly fee. Plumbing business software is usually rented by the month. Your records stay in your own browser and nothing is uploaded anywhere, so keep a backup file somewhere else.
