Description

What it does

Quotes that become jobs, with a real margin behind them

Build a quote from line items – materials, labor, subcontractor, equipment – with quantity, unit cost and markup, tax on top. Accept it and one click creates the job with the contract amount and cost budget already filled in. From there, job price plus approved change orders, minus materials, subs and crew hours at their rate, gives a margin that updates itself as costs come in.

Maintenance contracts for the recurring work that pays the bills

Weekly and bi-weekly mowing programs, seasonal cleanup packages, fertilization and weed control, irrigation maintenance, snow removal – each with its own annual price, visits per year, next visit and renewal date. One click renews a contract for another year, and a contract that lapses stays visible instead of quietly disappearing.

A site visit log, not just an invoice

Weather, crew on site, hours worked, what got done and what was delivered – logged per visit and printable as a daily report. When a client asks whether the crew showed up on Tuesday, the record answers it.

Follow-ups and client requests, tracked apart from the main job

A dead shrub, a misaligned sprinkler head, a paver that settled – Follow-Ups keeps a punch list with a location, a trade and an assignee. Client Requests tracks questions and change requests through to an answer, so nothing waits in a text thread.

Before you buy

What is landscape business software, and what does this one do?
It is the program a lawn care or landscaping company runs the business in: quotes, jobs, maintenance contracts, costs and invoices. This one builds a quote from line items you set the cost and markup on, turns an accepted quote into a job in one click, tracks maintenance contracts for recurring mowing and seasonal work, and handles job costing and invoicing, all in one file that works offline.
Does it handle recurring mowing contracts, not just one-off jobs?
Yes. Maintenance Contracts is its own module: weekly or bi-weekly mowing, seasonal cleanup, fertilization and weed control, irrigation maintenance, snow removal. Each contract tracks visits per year, next visit and renewal date, with a one-click renewal and a needs-attention flag for contracts coming up for renewal.
Is this landscape estimating or job costing software?
Both, for a small crew. Each job has a client, a crew lead, a schedule, a contract amount and a cost budget, change orders and invoices. The job cards show price against cost and the margin so far, plus a 0-100 health score. It is a single-computer tool, so it suits an owner-operator or a small crew with one office computer.
Does it design irrigation systems or calculate material takeoffs from a plan?
No. It does not design irrigation layouts, calculate square footage from a drawing or check code compliance. Keep the tool you already use for that. This is the business side: the quote, the job, the invoice and the follow-up.
Can it work as a simple landscape CRM?
For a small company, yes. Leads move from the first call to Won or Lost, one button turns a lead into a client, and each client keeps their jobs, invoices, maintenance contracts and requests. It does not send email campaigns or text messages.
Does it handle invoicing?
Yes. Deposit, progress claim, final invoice, variation and credit note, with Paid, Partial and Overdue worked out for you. It is not a general ledger, so payroll, bank feeds and tax filing stay with your bookkeeping program.
Can several people use it at once?
No, and it is worth knowing before you buy. There is no cloud sync and no shared database, so it is one computer at a time. Another office computer can work from a copy by restoring a backup file, but the two copies do not merge.
Is there a subscription?
No. One payment for the file, no account, no server and no monthly fee. Landscape business software is usually rented by the month. Your records stay in your own browser and nothing is uploaded anywhere, so keep a backup file somewhere else.
