Description

What it does

A takeoff that thinks in square feet and boxes

Put the floor area on the estimate, pick the floor from your price book and the takeoff adds a waste allowance, then rounds the order up to whole boxes: 1,150 sq ft of plank at 7% waste and 23.8 sq ft a box is 52 boxes. Labor hours per sq ft from your price book become one labor line at your own rate. The waste, box and hour figures are yours; nothing is read from plans.

Estimates from your own price book, with a real margin behind them

Hardwood, vinyl plank, tile, carpet, underlayment, adhesives, trim and labor, each with cost, sell price and margin. Accept an estimate and one click creates the job with the price, the floor area and the cost budget filled in. Job price plus approved change orders, minus materials, subs and installer hours, gives the margin and the price per sq ft for every job.

Site checks before the floor goes down

Log the site measure, the concrete or wood moisture test, the subfloor flatness check, walkthroughs and condo or HOA approvals against the job, with your own readings in the notes. A failed check raises an alert until the retest passes, and the dashboard tracks your first-pass rate.

An install schedule, callbacks and care plans

One row per installer, one column per day, with rush and urgent jobs colored. Callbacks and warranty returns are logged by room and assigned with a due date, and care plans for hardwood recoat, commercial floor care and grout sealing show what renews next.

Before you buy

What is flooring contractor software, and what does this one do?
It is the program a flooring company runs the business in: estimates, jobs, scheduling, costs and invoices. This one builds an estimate from your price book with a takeoff that adds waste and rounds up to whole boxes, turns an accepted estimate into a job in one click, schedules installers, logs site checks and callbacks and shows the margin and the price per sq ft of every job.
Is this estimating software for flooring contractors?
Yes, for the estimate and the takeoff. You type the floor area, pick items from your price book and it works out waste, boxes and install labor from the figures you set. It does not read plans, draw rooms or measure from photos.
Does it work as flooring contractor business management software?
For a small crew, yes. Jobs carry a price, a cost and a margin, and invoices, purchase orders, expenses and timesheets roll up into the dashboard and reports. Care plans track recurring floor-care work. It is not a general accounting package: payroll, banking and taxes stay in your accounting software.
Does it include product prices or a manufacturer catalog?
No. You enter your own products, prices, box coverage and waste allowances, so the numbers match what your supplier actually charges. It does not replace the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Can several people use it at once?
No, and it is worth knowing before you buy. There is no cloud sync and no shared database, so it is one computer at a time. Another computer can work from a copy by restoring a backup file, but the two copies do not merge.
Is there a subscription?
No. One payment for the file, no account, no server and no monthly fee. Your records stay in your own browser and nothing is uploaded anywhere, so keep a backup file in a second place.
