Is this a subscription?

No. OwnDesk Realty is a one-time purchase. There is no monthly fee, no renewal, and no account that can be cancelled or locked — unlike most real estate agent CRM software, which runs $30–$120 a month.

Does it work offline?

Yes. It’s a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser. No internet connection is needed after you download it.

Does it calculate my commission automatically?

Yes. Enter the sale price and commission rate, and it calculates gross commission, then subtracts brokerage split, team split, referral fee and other deductions to show net commission instantly.

Is this a real MLS or brokerage system?

No. OwnDesk Realty is a personal CRM and business organizer for tracking your own leads, clients, listings, showings, offers, transactions and commissions. It is not an MLS, brokerage back-office system, escrow platform, or accounting software, and it does not provide legal, financial or tax advice.

Is OwnDesk Realty real estate transaction management software?

For one agent's own deals, yes — that is exactly what the Transactions module is. Every deal moves from Accepted Offer through Closed on the same board as your leads and listings, instead of a separate transaction-management subscription. It manages your own pipeline, not escrow, compliance or multi-party document signing for a brokerage.

Is this realtor software for any agent, or only for a specific role?

Any agent working their own book of business — listing side, buyer side, or both. Nothing in it assumes a brokerage structure, a team, or a specific MLS, which is also why it stops short of being brokerage or MLS software.

Can two agents share the same pipeline from different computers?

No — this is single-computer by design. Export a JSON backup from Settings and import it on another computer to move your data, but only one computer should be the working copy at a time.

Is there a limit on how many leads, listings or clients I can add?

No artificial limit. Storage capacity depends on your browser, which is typically enough for years of normal use by one agent or a small team.

Is this accounting or bookkeeping software for real estate agents?

Not exactly, and we’d rather say so plainly than have you find out after buying. It is not accounting software and doesn’t file taxes or give financial advice — but the Income & Expenses module does track your business income, expenses and mileage with a running net cash flow, and Commissions calculates gross and net automatically from price, rate and every split. For most agents that covers the daily "what did I actually make this month" question a dedicated bookkeeping subscription is usually bought to answer.

Is there free real estate software for agents that actually works, or is it always a trial?
